Stacy Kray is Partner and Co-Lead of Orrick's Environmental Practice and ESG Practice, advising clients on the environmental law and climate change aspects of energy and infrastructure projects, M&A, joint ventures, capital markets, and financing transactions. She specializes in carbon credits and carbon trading in voluntary and regulated markets, ESG management and reporting practices, and sustainability disclosures. Stacy advises a diverse range of clients including energy companies, manufacturers, financial institutions, and developers on risk management, regulatory compliance, due diligence, and contractual negotiations. She also represents clients in environmental litigation and administrative proceedings, guiding emergency and crisis response efforts. Previously, Stacy served as Counsel at Skadden, Arps, Slate, Meagher & Flom for over 11 years, focusing on climate change and ESG matters. Recognized as a Woman of Influence by the Silicon Valley Business Journal, she serves on the board of The Arc of the United States and as Board of Governors Co-Chair of Membership for The Recording Academy's San Francisco Chapter. Stacy holds a J.D. from UC Berkeley School of Law.
