Karen Hill is a Senior Advisor at Health Management Associates with over 30 years of healthcare experience spanning direct service delivery, program design, and system transformation. A TeamSTEPPS Master Trainer with expertise in trauma-informed care, integrated behavioral health, and complex care management, Karen has led major workforce development initiatives for Los Angeles County Department of Health Services, Sacramento County, and tribal health organizations. Her work includes developing training curricula for inter-professional teams, designing nurse residency programs, and conducting system-wide assessments to improve care delivery for vulnerable populations. Previously, Karen served as Vice President of Clinical Programs at Center for Youth Wellness and Clinical Nurse Manager at UCSF/Glide Health Services. She holds advanced certifications in Complex Care Management and is a UCSF Clinical Professor. Karen is a doctoral candidate in Family Health Care Nursing with a focus on occupational and environmental health.
